Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It is also known as the traditional full body massage. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Swe-Thai Massage (Back to Top)


Swe-Thai Massage is an innovative style of massage that combines passive yoga style stretching techniques of Thai Massage with powerful forearm techniques of specific and advanced tissue therapies, including deep tissue work. Biomechanics are based on Traditional Thai Medical Massage Techniques. Great for people who golf, play tennis, involved in any type of sport, workout, or lift weights. Performed on Massage Table.

Deep Tissue Massage (Back to Top)


Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don’t get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Hot Stone Therapy (Back to Top)


Hot Stone Therapy is a type of bodywork that uses deep penetrating heat from specialized stones.  The physiological benefits of heat have long been scientifically and medically proven.

Stone Therapy delivers a profound expansion and contraction inside your circulatory system, improving the function of your lymphatic and immune systems, and enhancing your body’s self-healing mechanisms.  This style of bodywork takes you into deep states of relaxation, releasing stress and anxiety, detoxifying the body, and balancing your nervous system.

Reiki (Back to Top)


Reiki is a Japanese technique that promotes relaxation and stress reduction and is currently used in over 200 hospitals across the country. 
As a result of becoming more relaxed through a Reiki session, the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum mental, emotional, and physical health.
Physicians and nurses are beginning to recognize its value and have begun adding it to services provided by hospitals, medical clinincs, and hospice programs. Doctors and Nurses indicate that Reiki reduces stress, decreases the need for pain medication, improves sleep and appetite, and accelerates the healing process. Reiki also reduces many of the unwanted side effects of radiation and drugs, including chemotherapy. 
I have been practicing Reiki since 1992, and I am a Reiki Master Teacher and Karuna® Reiki Master Teacher. I studied Reiki at the International Center for Reiki Training with William Lee Rand, R.M.T. I also studied with Laurelle Shanti Gaia R.M.T, of Peace Place located in Sedona Arizona, and Dianne Thomas R.M.T. of The Pink Dolphin Bed and Breakfast in Summerville.   
The Reiki technique utilizes a gentle laying on of hands and the client is fully clothed.

Reflexology (Back to Top)


Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet.  Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body.  According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into the feet.  Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

30 minutes is $30.00

Craniosacral Therapy (Back to Top)


Craniosacral Therapy is a bodywork method that focuses on gently stimulating your Cranial Sacral system (membranes and fluid that surround the brain and spinal cord) to heal the body by improving the functioning of the central nervous system. CST effectively complements your body’s natural healing process, and has been known to help alleviate a wide variety of problems including:


  • Central Nervous System Disorders

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  • TMJ

  • Fibromyalgia

Prenatal Massage (Back to Top)


Prental Massage is a form of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women, after the first trimester.  Pregnancy is a time in which a woman’s body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical, mental, and emotional changes.  Using various techniques specifically for the new mother, Pregnancy Massage helps alleviate discomforts experienced throughout the pregnancy.  The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the reduction of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, improved breathing and relaxation, and relief from uncomfortable digestive issues.
